The French trailer for ‘Les Petits Mouchoirs‘ debuted today exclusively on MSN.fr. However, the same footage was already shown on Sunday during the Rencontres de cinéma avec Guillaume Canet on Canal+. During that interview also more scenes from the movie were shown for the first time! And recently a second Making Of video was released. The movie will be released in France on October 20.
Very big news for the movie came also in today! The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) announced their lineup of Galas and Special Presentations! So, ‘Little White Lies‘ (the movie’s English title) will celebrate its world premiere with a gala screening at the Canadian Film Festival!
More ‘Inception‘ promotion material is appearing online. In the new ‘Meet the Characters’ featurette Marion Cotillard as Mal is featured with a line for the first time. I’ve added high quality screencaps of that moment. And those new stills just look gorgeous!
On the new character posters for ‘Inception‘ each character received a title. Marion Cotillard is ‘The Shade’. Look at the other posters on Empire Online.
There’s apparently also a different version of Marion’s ‘The Shade’ poster around – according to this picture on Twitter (thanks Nadine for the heads up!).
The Japanese ‘Inception‘ trailer – as aired while Ken Watanabe gave an interview on Japanese TV – features an additional glimpse of Marion.
What a day! Both the new poster and trailer for ‘Inception‘ feature Marion. Not only does the concept as well as the visual style of the movie want me to see the movie right away but also Marion looks gorgeous! I am waiting with adding screencaptures of the trailer until the official HD trailer gets released (reportedly on Monday).
Deadline Hollywood reports that last Monday a screening of ‘Inception‘ was held for cast and their reps:
And even the most cynical people who usually hate everything were knocked out. “It was beautiful.” Lots of gushing about the “incredible work” by Leonardo DiCaprio, Marion Cotillard, and Ellen Page.
Over the past few days I was busy preparing for this huge post. I added clips and screencaptures of all the promotional interviews Marion Cotillard did for ‘Nine‘ – except talk shows. I also replaced some stills as well as the screencaptures of the 3rd trailer with better ones and added screencaptures of Marion rehearsing her dance routine.
The new trailer for ‘Nine‘ to air on TV November 22 debuted today (November 16, US time) exclusively on Yahoo! It is set to Kate Hudson’s Cinema Italiano and unfortunately doesn’t feature many scenes with Marion Cotillard – more glimpses. But I’m sure you’ll enjoy the HQ captures I added to the gallery.
The earlier announced ‘Nine’ micro-website on ABC.com has gone online and offers a sweepstakes to the New York premiere of ‘Nine‘ – which will take place after December 3 when the sweepstake ends. The Making Of is not yet online but a gallery. Be also sure to check out Yahoo!’s ‘Nine’ site to watch the new trailer in HD!
Finally! Gaumont released the French trailer for ‘Le dernier vol‘ yesterday – in time for today’s screening at the American Film Market. Doesn’t it look perfect?! For a HQ version as well as a translation of the dialogue visit our forum.
Marion Cotillard narrated the forthcoming ‘Voyage sous les mers 3d‘ by the brothers Jean-Jacques & François Mantello. The film opens in French theatres next week, August 26. According to the movie’s official site as of today there will be 4 advanced screenings with the presence of the directors. Not sure, if that’ll include Marion on at least one of the screenings? Maybe she’s too busy shooting ‘Inception‘ (although I think they were only shooting in Paris for 3 days) or she went back to the set of ‘Les Petits Mouchoirs‘ again already.
Anyway, I added the French interview with Marion from the production notes, the video interview from MenStyle.fr, the trailer, the poster as well as a picture of Marion behind the microphone to the media sections.
Maybe someone could provide English translations soon? That’d be awesome. In the meantime a short summary. We learn that Marion was intrigued by the project as soon as she heard about it. She was approached while filming ‘Le dernier vol‘ in the Sahara. She’s done some diving herself and was amazed by the wonders of the ocean. According to her watching ‘Voyage sous les mers 3d‘ will feel like a real dive.
Marion-related material & information just doesn’t stop coming in these days, eh? Well, I’m not complaining! You can view the brand new trailer for Marion’s upcoming musical ‘Nine‘ on Apple.com.
“NINE” is a vibrant and provocative musical that follows the life of world famous film director Guido Contini (Daniel Day-Lewis) as he reaches a creative and personal crisis of epic proportion, while balancing the numerous women in his life including his wife (Marion Cotillard), his mistress (Penelope Cruz), his film star muse (Nicole Kidman), his confidant and costume designer (Judi Dench), an American fashion journalist (Kate Hudson), the whore from his youth (Fergie) and his mother (Sophia Loren). The film is directed by Rob Marshall (CHICAGO). The original 1982 Broadway production of “NINE,” with music and lyrics by Maury Yeston, won five Tony Awards including Best Musical.
