Wearing black floor length Christian Dior dress from the Fall 2011 collection – with an embroidered lace skirt, embellishment details on the chest and a sexy open back – together with a cute braided updo Marion Cotillard looked perfect on Wednesday’s New York premiere of ‘Contagion‘. I started adding pictures, expect more soon.

‘Little White Lies‘ is out in theatres in Australia! It will be out in Germany on July 7 (extensive official site) and it will be released on DVD and Bluray in the UK on August 22 (source). So I think all this is a good opportunity to catch up on some movie promotion Marion Cotillard did last year.

Yesterday was Marion Cotillard’s first official sighting since giving birth to son Marcel 2 weeks ago. Looking nothing but stunning on a photoshoot for Dior in Paris.
I think we can see Mario Testino on one of the pictures. It’ll be interesting to see what the pictures will be used for. For another Dior campaign or even a Vogue UK cover in the fall? One thing is certain though, the final photoshoot will look just great! (Source)

I added more pictures from Friday to the Opening Ceremony album and created a second for the Royal Dinner which took place afterwards and where they actually met Prince Moulay Rachid. Marion Cotillard was not only sitting next to Guillaume Canet – she was also placed next to Keanu Reeves during the ceremony.
Yesterday, Marion Cotillard and Guillaume Canet attended the Dior Gala Dinner as well as the Tribute to French Cinema. All the French actors and directors – 50 people led by Costa Gavras and Catherine Deneuve – were assembled on stage after Martin Scorsese’s speech. More pictures and videos tomorrow!
‘La Môme‘ (La Vie en Rose) – one of the 75 French films made during the last 30 years shown at the festival – will be screened on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at 10pm at the cinema Megarama Salle 3.

Marion Cotillard and Guillaume Canet arrived in Morocco on Thursday and attended the vernissage of the exhibition The Chamooo Thoery at the David Bloch gallery (source). And yesterday they attended the opening ceremony of the 10th Marrakech International Film Festival. Marion was wearing her hair all curly and a Christian Dior Spring 2011 gown. She also shook hands with Prince Moulay Rachid.
Today, there will be a Dior gala dinner and the Tribute to French Cinema – ‘La Môme‘ (La Vie en Rose) will be part of the retrospective.
Marion Cotillard left New York earlier this week to attend the BAFTA Los Angeles 2010 Britannia Awards at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles on Thursday. Wearing a grey sequin one-shoulder dress by Elie Saab she presented her ‘Inception‘ director with the John Schlesinger Britannia Award for Artistic Excellence in Directing. She was also pictured with Cillian Murphy and Harvey Weinstein.
As poste earlier, the awards ceremony will air on US Television later tonight, Sunday, November 7 on TV Guide as of 7.30pm ET/PT. The actual ceremony will start at 8.00pm after the red carpet special. Is anybody recording this? I would love to have a clip for the site, thank you!
Marion Cotillard’s been busy filming her scenes for ‘Contagion‘ lately. Last weekend she was seen around New York City. On Saturday she attended the epic Heaven and Hell Halloween party at the Standard Hotel where actors, fashion designers, models, modelizers and more hang out in costumes. There are a ton of pictures available but only purple DIARY and W Magazine have photographs of Marion.
On Monday, she attended the naag.com Launch Party at the Mary Queen of Scots and was almost incognito – but Jalouse.fr has a picture of her with Cécile Cassel and Cole Alexander.
I added more pictures to the album of Thursday’s Paris premiere of ‘Les petits mouchoirs‘. The whole cast was there, including Maxim Nucci (Yodélice) and the child actors. Apparently, there was a dress code to wear black – although I haven’t found any reference to that yet. There’s a video with interviews of the cast – sadly not with Marion – on Premiere.fr.
Marion was wearing a Christian Dior Fall 2010 strapless leather dress and combined the look with few accessories but with bold lipstick and didn’t sweep her bangs to the side for a change. An unusual look for her which got very mixed feedback around the web. What do you think?
Guillaume Canet & Co. were very busy the previous Sunday, October 3. First they made a 15-minute stop (source) at the Pathé cinema in Lievin. Marion was unable to accompany them since she had to arrive earlier at their 2nd stop in Lomme for interviews (source) but sent greetings (source).
As already mentioned, they then stopped at the Kinepolis cinema in Lomme near Lille. This is where fans and media greeted Guillaume Canet and his friends: Marion Cotillard, Gilles Lellouche, François Cluzet, Pascale Arbillot, Laurent Lafitte and Joël Dupuch. Only absent due to filming commitments were Jean Dujardin, Benoît Magimel and Valérie Bonneton. France 3 aired a news report about the premiere with a short Marion interview the following day.
The last stop was the UGC Ciné Cité Cinema in Lille. There are 2 very good videos by CalogeroFanzone on Youtube: Part 1 and Part 2. These are particularly noteworthy because they were having so much fun, even singing bits of songs while introducing the movie. I added screencaptures of these to the gallery.
Not surprisingly, all these highly successful advance screenings around the country in the past weeks have resulted in over 10,000 people having seen the movie prior to its official theatrical release on October 20 – as of October 4 (source). The number has increased since.
Many thanks Nadine for your tremendous help in finding the links to all this information. Stay tuned for more catch-up posts as well as pictures from the official premiere which took place earlier tonight.
