Marion was very busy promoting ‘Inception‘. On Thursday, July 8, she attended the world premiere at Odeon Leicester Square in London, England. Her dress is by US-designer Thakoon. She looked absolutely perfect, her look was so her, the wavy hair, the bohemian style of the dress and the make-up gave her a beautiful complexion. It’s definitely one of my favourite outfits of her.

Then after the press junket on Friday, she attended the Paris premiere at the Gaumont Champs Elysées on Saturday evening, July 10, looking absolutely flawless in Dior.

And yesterday, July 13, she attended the Los Angeles premiere at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in a exquisite L’Wren Scott dress, looking – once more – breathtaking. She was spotted at the airport taking a plane back to Paris right after the premiere (she still has the same hairdo) as she’s expected on set for more ‘Midnight in Paris‘ filming.

I’m back from my travels for a few days so I’ll be doing my best to catch up on what’s going on in Marion Cotillard’s world. To begin, some additional HQ pictures of her during the Los Angeles ‘Inception‘ Press Conference in Los Angeles last month. Due to filming ‘Midnight in Paris‘ Marion didn’t attend the London Press Conference (although she did make it to the world premiere Thursday evening – more on that later). However, she was present during the Press Conference in Paris on Friday ahead of its premiere there on Saturday. Earlier tonight on Friday, Marion Cotillard along with 7 other actors from the movie together with director Chris Nolan and score composer Hans Zimmer attended a press conference and photo call for ‘Inception‘ at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.

Marion Cotillard attended the Maud Fontenoy Fondation Gala this past Tuesday, June 8 – on World Ocean Day – at the Hotel de la Marine in Paris, France. The foundation by French sailor and UNESCO Ambassador for the Oceans Maud Fontenoy is determined to fight to save the oceans and protect the coastlines. Read more about their work here.

Continuing with catching up on Marion’s activities in Cannes some pictures and a video from Tuesday when she was on Le Grand Journal. As you can see on the pictures of her arriving at the ‘studio’ and in the video she was accompagnied by Edith Piaf’s best friend Ginou. As last, year she also signed a bottle of limited-edition gold leaf Moët Methusalem – which will later be auctioned off in support of FilmAid International, the humanitarian aid organization that uses film and video to entertain and to educate communities in crisis around the world.

I updated the gallery with more pictures from the Chopard Anniversary party as well as of Marion out & about earlier the same day. Le Petit Journal (for Canal+) and Glanz & Gloria (for SF – Swiss TV) spotted and interviewed her on Monday and aired some footage of that on Tuesday evening. Additionally, Le Parisien stood next to SF during their interview and posted a different part of the interview (without the German voice-over) on their website.

As posted last night, Marion Cotillard attended the Chopard 150th Anniversary Party during the Cannes Film Festival. Either during or after the party she attended M‘s concert together with Guillaume Canet (source: Madame Figaro Blog). She looked glamourous & Rock’n'Roll in her metallic jumpsuit. Not only was the new Lady Dior short movie released today – as previously posted also John Galliano unveiled Dior’s cruise collection in Shanghai today. And guess what, Marion Cotillard was there!

Christian Dior’s boutique at Plaza 66 in Shanghai, China will re-open this May. With the reopening, Dior has decided to launch a limited edition selection of iconic pieces from the house in Dior blue. These pieces will be sold exclusively at their Shanghai store, which means many of us will never be able to buy them. This launch coincides with the World Expo and the Dior Cruise 2011 fashion show being held in Shanghai on May 15th.

The 63rd edition of the Cannes Film Festival starts tomorrow, May 12 and will run until May 23. While none of Marion’s upcoming movies are part of the line-up she is sure to be busy behind the scenes promoting them. Also the David Lynch directed Lady Dior short film is scheduled to be unveiled on Saturday, May 15. Will there be a special event at Cannes for this? I don’t know.

What is sure is that she’s the invited guest for Le Grand Journal next week on Wednesday, May 19 18 (source: Toutlatele.com Ozap.com, thanks Nadine for the heads up!). Additionally, AFP is reporting that Marion will be attending the amfAR benefit gala at the Eden Roc Hotel on May 21.

After last year, Marion Cotillard again attended the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Annual Costume Institute Gala Benefit yesterday – which opened the new exhibition American Women: Fashioning a National Identity. The event was hosted by Patrick Robinson of The Gap, and co-hosted by Vogue editor Anna Wintour and Oprah Winfrey

Marion represented Christian Dior and apparently also was a member of the Benefit Committee (source).

Both her choice of dress (Dior Haute Couture) and style received praise from fashion websites and put her on their lists of “Best Dressed”:
