Forty-year-old François has everything he needs to be happy: a family, work, friends… But a tragic event to do with his business puts into question the principles that rule his life. Will François be able to rouse himself and refuse to accept what he now considers intolerable?
Marion Cotillard plays Lisa, a young woman who doesn’t care much about social norms. She is a free spirit and has a goodness in her nature which makes her help François when he doesn’t know what to do or where to go. In a way she is the opposite of him – she has realized nothing is forever and in a way savours each day.

This is a sad tale about today’s work conditons. Yet the characters are so beautifully drawn and moves along at such a nice pace accompanied by a beautiful soundtrack I couldn’t help but be entertained by this little film jewel. François is the main character – a man who has kept his head down and obeyed his boss a few years too many and let himself be entrapped by his fear – but everyone involved gives a great performance.
