Luc Jaquet, who directed the world wild acclaimed documentary March of the Penguins, directed the Cannes closing night film Ice and the Sky, which the program is based on.
Marion, who lent her voice to dubbing the program, was with Luc Jaquet at the French Insitute in New York City on June 11 to discuss what the program entails during a press conference.
The documentary “Ice and the Sky” centers on climate specialist Claude Lorius, who began researching in Antarctica in 1957 by measuring carbon dioxide bubbles in ice (some of it 800,000 years old) to prove mankind’s role in climate change. Lorius was among the first scientists to make the case for global warming.
I have added dozens of high quality photos of the event to the gallery.

Just a little post to let you know we are revamping our Social Media and introducing new ways of sharing Marion content and news with you.
My friend Serena joined the team and, as the social media savvy she is (and that I’m really not!), she has been helping out with updating and upgranding our Social Media presence. We have a new look for all our channels now that matches that of the website, and we will be more active on all of them than we have been so far.
We have opened an Instagram account for the website, which will keep you visually up to date on what we are doing for the website and will also feature any Marion related things we run into during our days and that we find fun to share with you guys. We hope you like this new add on and be sure to follow us on there to keep up to date with the site, too.
Serena has been a precious help in uploading the dozens and dozens of videos to our Youtube account. Be sure to subscribe to keep up to date with new videos as she will be uploading often and there are a lot of videos to come! Welcome to the team and thanks so much for all the help, Serena!
Hope you guys enjoy and please do submit any ideas or suggestions for things you’d like to see on the site. We’re always trying to make it the best source for you!
Marion started her appearances in the South of France on May 11, by attending the Dior Cruise 2016 show where she wore a Dior piece and posed next to designer Raf Simmons.
Next up, in Cannes, Marion Cotillard attended the Chopard Trophy gala on May 15. The chosen look was by Balmain, an edgy dress with bright colours and a black skirt. Marion designed jewlery for Chopard this year. She wore it all through the festival. The bracelet she wore at the premiere of The Little Prince was one of the designs. You can read more about it here. The next day, Marion attended The French Party wearing a minimal black dress by Dior.
The AmfAR Gala came next on May 21st and we saw Marion in a bright green dress by Gaultier. Marion and Michael Fassbender did a speech at the event and seemed to have a great amount of fun together. Be sure to check those photos in the gallery. If anyone has video footage of this event please send it to me! I will give you full credit for it.
May 22 marked the premiere of The Little Prince, followed by a Dior private dinner. Marion wore Dior for both events.
Macbeth‘s day was May 24 and Marion attended the photocall, press conference and premiere later that night. She wore a colourful design by Ulyana Sergeenko to the first two events during the day and later changed into a sparkly short dress by Dior. She was accompanied on the red carpet by director Justin Kurzel and co-star Michael Fassbender.
I have added hundreds of high quality photos of all these events to the gallery so be sure to check them out!

Shooting for Xavier Dolan’s next feature film, Juste La Fin Du Monde (It’s Only The End of the World) started straight after the Cannes Film Festival ended at the end of May, and work on the film has been underway in Canada since. Marion will play Catherine in the film, against French renowned actors Vincent Cassel, Léa Seydoux and Gaspard Ulliel.
The first still from the film featuring Marion has just been released and I’ve added it to the site. I’m personally really excited about this project as Xavier Dolan is one of my favourite directors working today. I’ll add news of the film as soon as they’re released.

Variety reports that Marion Cotillard is in talks to join Robert Zemeckis’ next projet, a spy thriller set during the Second World War. The plot of the film is being kept under wraps but sources say Marion and Brad would most likely play two assassins who are married. When Marion’s character is revealed to be a supporter of the Third Reich, she becomes her husband’s next target.
Robert Zemeckis is aboard to direct the period film, which will reportedly find Pitt and Cotillard as assassins who fall in love while working a mission to take out a German official. They end up getting hitched, but a spanner is thrown in their happiness when Pitt learns that his missus is actually a double agent for the Nazis and his next job will be to kill her.
The film would shoot early next year, once Marion wraps work on Assassin’s Creed.
If this project gets signed, Marion will have four movies lined up shooting into 2016. Seems like it’ll be a busy year!
