To promote ‘Le dernier vol‘ Marion Cotillard graces the cover of tomorrow’s Madame Figaro – for the 3rd time this year! Thanks to Mariana I added the scans to the gallery.

And another TV Alert Marion Cotillard and Guillaume Canet will appear on 20 heures, which airs on France 2, on Sunday, December 13, 2009.
Yesterday’s Star profile in Envoyé Spécial on France 2 was about Guillaume Canet. As the documentary also had footage from the ‘Les Petits Mouchoirs‘ and ‘Le dernier vol‘ sets as well as the Gaumont reception at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, there was also new footage of Marion Cotillard. I added the caps and an edited clip.
Guillaume is a Ferrari, Marion a Porsche.

As announced, Marion Cotillard appeared on ‘Le Grand Journal‘ earlier this night to promote her upcoming film ‘Le dernier vol‘, which is released in France and French-speaking Switzerland next Wednesday! Marion shared the time on the TV show with actress/singer Charlotte Gainsbourg. Enjoy the clip and the caps!
TIME charts the highs and lows of the past year in 50 wide-ranging lists under the title The Top 10 Everything of 2009. Marion Cotillard is featured on the Top 10 Movie Performances List for her performance in ‘Nine‘:
5. Marion Cotillard as Luisa Contini in Nine
The actresses in Nine, Rob Marshall’s musical drama based on Federico Fellini’s 8½, come alive when they sing. Penélope Cruz, Judi Dench, Nicole Kidman, Sophia Loren and (wow) Fergie all lend their solo turns knowing eroticism and high snazz. But Cotillard, as the wife of a desperate filmmaker (Daniel Day-Lewis) is in command of her character whether she’s singing, speaking or just staring darts at her philandering mate. Pain rarely seemed so proud, or hurt so regal, as in Cotillard’s rendition of the ballad “My Husband Makes Movies.” The actress’s showy turn as Edith Piaf in La vie en rose earned her an Oscar. Here, she’s simpler, deeper, better.
While we await the big interview with the whole ‘Nine‘ cast on ABC ‘Nightline’ tomorrow I added some behind the scenes pictures from when the interview was recorded at New York’s legendary Plaza Hotel. ABC promises a feisty and intimate conversation. Be sure to tune in tomorrow, Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009 at 11:35 p.m. ET.
Marion Cotillard wasn’t on France’s Le Grand Journal tonight but at the end of tonight’s episode they announced that Marion and Charlotte Gainsbourg will be on tomorrow at 20.10h.
The Lady Dior Website was recently updated with new content and a new look – be sure to check it out!
I added the new-ish interview with Marion Cotillard about the short film Lady Noire Affair (I had previously never been able to access it on the website) as well as the brand new Making Of of the New York shoot with Annie Leibovitz.
Also, we now know why Marion was absent from the ‘Nine‘ world premiere last week (the premiere was orginally scheduled for another date anyway): She was in Shanghai with director David Lynch to shoot another Lady Dior video. I’m not sure whether said video will really be the second Dior short film as fashion websites reported – or not already the third. In any case the second Lady Dior film – entitled The Lady Rouge Affair should be released this month.

Marion Cotillard as well as Sophia Loren, Dame Judi Dench, Kate Hudson, Penelope Cruz, Stacy Ferguson (Fergie), Daniel Day Lewis, and Nicole Kidman will talk about their favorite moments during filming, the surprising details they learned about themselves and each other in the process, and their opinions of the film’s award winning director, Rob Marshall.
