Indiewire reports that Marion Cotillard will be live chatting on Sunday, October 5, at the New York Film Festival:
For a third year in a row, the New York Film Festival will host a series of live chats, free to the public, with some of the talent attending this year’s event. Guests include Marion Cotillard; documentary veteran Albert Maysles; Timothy Spall, star of Mike Leigh’s “Mr. Turner”; “Whiplash” director Damien Chazelle; and Joshua Oppenheimer, who’s bringing “The Look of Silence” (his follow-up to “The Act of Killing”) to the festival. These new additions join the previously announced series of Directors Dialogues with filmmakers Laura Poitras, Bennett Miller, Mike Leigh, Pedro Costa and Mathieu Amalric and Kathryn Bigelow.

1:00PM: A Conversation with Marion Cotillard
One of the most exciting French actresses today, Marion Cotillard, who won an Academy Award playing Edith Piaf in La Vie en Rose, stars in Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne’s Two Days, One Night, a film that is at once an unforgettable drama and a tough ethical inquiry.
Two Days, One Night will then be shown that same day at 3PM and again on October 6, at 9PM.
If you’re in New York this weekend, don’t miss it!
This past Friday, Marion attended the Christian Dior show at Paris Fashion Week Womenswear Spring/Summer. She looked elegant and chic in a simple Dior black frock with an exaggerated collar, and a pair of bright blue heeled booties.
The Christian Dior show focused on understated looks for women who know how to do minimal dressing.
Paris Fashion week goes on until October 1st.
I will keep adding photos to the gallery throughout the week. Enjoy!

As life took over and her time to work on the website lessened gradually, Mia, the creator of this wonderful site, has handed it over to me to own and look after. My time as of late hasn’t been the best, either, but Mia has done such a beautiful job that I thought it would be a shame to see it stop. It’s truly an honour to be able to continue what she started and devoted so many years too. I can only hope I can keep doing it justice.
After a busy summer, I finally updated the gallery and completed all the latest events Marion appeared at this year. There are also two new outtakes, one from Los Angeles Times one and Madame Figaro.
With Mia’s help, I will be updating the gallery in the next few months with all the missing events, magazine scans and screen captures. I will also be keeping an eye out for Marion news as always, and try to keep the site as updated as possible for all of you.
As per usual, if you have anything to contribute to the site with feel free to contact me and send it over and I will credit you fully.

Variety just reported that ‘Two Days One Night’ has been chosen to represent Belgium in the foreign-language Oscar campaign.
The jury, presided by Joëlle Levie, chose the film for its “cinematographic quality and its powerful topical and universal subject matter.” The committee, made up of six industryites, also pointed out the film’s strong international potential of the film due to the presence of Cotillard, who won an Oscar for her perf in “La Vie en Rose.” “Two Days, One Night” received upbeat reviews at Cannes and was sold by Wild Bunch in more than 60 territories.
IFC Films, which will release “Two Days, One Night” on Dec. 24 in the U.S., has already started positioning the film for the Academy Awards, presenting it at key festivals, including Telluride and Toronto, as well as the upcoming New York and Los Angeles AFI fests. It will soon compete at the European Film Awards.
“Two Days, One Night” was produced by Belgium’s Les films du Fleuve, in co-production with Eyeworks, with the support of the Centre du Cinéma et de l’Audiovisuel of the Federation Wallonia-Brussels and the Flemish Audiovisual Fund.
The Academy Awards ceremony will take place on Feb. 22 at the Los Angeles Dolby Theatre. The nominations will be unveiled on Jan. 15.
This is great news for the film and Marion, hopefully we will see her one more time at the Awards as a strong contender!
