Hi everybody! I want to colaborate, It would be great if Marion read our letter! I'm new here, I just registered..My name is Helena and I'm from Brazil. Thats my letter, tell me what you think:


"Dear Marin Cotillard,

I wish I could always identify a beautiful soul in people easily as I did when I saw you for the first time.When I watched Toi et moi last October I felt so good energy in that beautiful actress playing that shy girl that I wanted more..The next day I watched Ma vie en l'air and in the following week La môme was released in Brazil. I dont have words to discribe what I felt watching you as Edith Piaf. You had the power to touch my heart deeply and intensely, only a few times in my life I felt that watching a movie!! In the Oscar's night I was so excited for you, when Forest said your name I started to jump all over the room, like fireworks (as you have said). Its been a tough week for all of us and we want It to end. The cruelty of this comments will make you stronger. Keep in mind that there's people who love  you, no matter what. It's amazing what admiration can do and your personality and talented inspires me great admiration!

I don't believe anyone would think about doing that. As the administrator of the site, you're the one entitled to speak on behalf of it. That's why I think it's a good idea that you should send the letter, from all of us.

I am an older person who has seen some of our best actress, the movies have known. As a child I went to the movies daily. I rank you as one of the best. Hang in there, this too shall pass. Hi, here's my contribution to your support letter (excellent idea) - hope Marion will soon read it!

"Chère Marion,

Tout d'abord toutes mes félicitations pour toutes ces récompenses très méritées. Vous étiez vraiment magnifique dans la Môme. J'ai vibré à chaque cérémonie en croisant les doigts très très fort à chaque fois. Mille BRAVOS!!!

La vie n'étant  hélas jamais un long fleuve tranquille, est venu ensuite cet article assassin de ce torchon de Marianne (j'espère qu'ils vont le payer cher en terme de ventes: il y a eu plus de 600 messages chaque jour sur leur site en protestation). J'imagine sans peine dans quel état cela a du vous mettre... la presse est vraiment pourrie et corrompue.
Heureusement, il y a aussi eu des tas de réaction positives à tout ce tapage peu reluisant. Beaucoup ont pris votre défense.

Cela ne semble peut-être pas évident aujourd'hui, mais les nuages finiront bien par se dissiper. Ce que l'on vous souhaite: un super tournage pour "Public Enemies" et pour "Nine" pour que les critiques soient une fois de plus unanimes quant à vos performances d'actrice.

Tous les fans de ce très beau site: marion.cotillard.org veulent voir une Marion resplendissante à l'écran: avec une telle capacité de séduction, ça ne devrait pas être trop dur d'éblouir le public du monde entier sans le maquillage de la Môme!

Courage Marion: on apprend toujours plus des mauvaises expériences que des bonnes, c'est comme ça qu'il faut voir les choses. Quand Public Enemies sortira, tout ça semblera bien loin!

I want to thank you for the wonderful hours I have had while watching you on screen. It´s an indescribable joy to watch you act. I can´t tell you how happy I was for you when you got your oscar. You are such a kind, upstanding, just wonderful person – and it makes me very sad that you have to go through that media hunt but please always remember that there are a great many people who adore you and won´t ever stop supporting and believing in you.

I just want to say that I truly believe you are a wonderfully talented actress. I hope that you have a long and successful career in the U.S. so that more people may be able to enjoy your talents. I cannot wait for your future projects. Also, I am sorry to hear that you are upset by people's reactions to your comments. You still have countless fans and don't worry....Anne Heche, an American actress, turned gay for some time, "talked to aliens", then turned straight again and now she has a critically acclaimed tv show.

Oh yeah, I also want to add that I recently saw Love Me If You Dare and it is one of the best movies I have seen in a while, partly because of you....so thanks. Actually, now that i think about the movie more, it is definately one of my all time favorite movies.

I love your acting so much! I've seen quite a few of your movies, and I think you're incredible! As for the criticism you are receiving for your comments about 9/11, I think you are absolutely right. There is for sure something strange about that situation.... Some people just don't think outside the box.
