The issue is due out on Oct 20. I don’t know if it will actually show up any earlier than that. I think I can safely say that the cover shot features Kidman, Cotillard, Cruz, and Hudson, and I believe is from the earlier Leibovitz beach shoot. It’s a beautiful image.

ANOTHER update:
I’ve got a copy of the new (American) Vogue in my hands. The cover is beautiful. The shot of the women inside, also a Leibovitz shot but taken on set at Shepperton, isn’t black and white, as I remembered it, but the color is very muted and the women are all wearing black. There is also one small photo of DDL and one of Marcello Mastoianni from 8 1/2, and a short article about the film. I won’t tell you what’s in the article, because I’m sure you will all enjoy reading it and I don’t want to spoil it for you.
