I have never heard of Marion Cotillard until the night of the Oscars. Then I instantly knew of what a brilliant actress she is, Wow. What a super great performance. I am now collecting every film with Marion Cotillard in it. I did not like A Very long Engagement. It was too violent and Cotillard's role was very small with a tragic end to her character. In 1975 I saw Ingmar Bergman's Scenes from a Marriage and Liv Ullman became my favorite actress and the late, great Ingmar Bergman was and is still my all time favorite film director. In 1968 I saw Bonnie and Clyde and Faye Dunaway became my new favorite actress. So now in 2008 I am so glad that I can still be emotionally affected by a great performance. Cotillard is beautiful..
