Finally, it is here! The full-length song “Beds are Burning” with accompanying music video was unveiled at 3pm local time in Paris, France. Kofi Annan was joined by Mélanie Laurent, a good friend of Marion. She herself seems to have been absent from the event, so here a quote from Mélanie:

I’m supporting Kofi Annan’s initiative and hope this song will be heard by as many people as possible in the world before Copenhagen. This campaign will help secure a better future for our planet and upcoming generations. The time has come.

Marion Cotillard’s voice can clearly be heard at around 1:31. There’s not much more footage of her in the video than we’ve already seen in the trailer, but the quality of these final captures are much better. Enjoy!

While we eagerly await the full video for ‘Beds are Burning‘ – the song to advertise the Tck Tck Tck Campaign for Time For Climate Justice – a new teaser as well as a ‘Marion Cotillard Tck Tck Tck Spot’ have hit the web. They’re both short but lovely – we also get to have a good look at Guillaume Canet in the teaser.

A story of the heart you don’t come across often; One which unites Judith Milgrom, creator of Maje (fashion label) and Professeur Leca’s society Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque.

A heartbeat for a just cause:

Caring for children with born cardiac deformity no matter where they come from and giving them the chance to get surgery no matter the cost.

Artists good-heartedly joining the cause by offering their original works of art.

From October 21 until November 21, 2009 Maje “puts heart” to the matter and organizes an exhibition-sale at the Bon Marché Rive Gauche for all the original works of the invited designers (Marion Cotillard, Vanessa Paradis, Inès de la Fressange, Guillaume Canet, Ariel Wizman, Garance Doré, André, Kuntzel & Deygas, Marco Zanusso Jr, Sam Baron, Tania Bruno-Rosso, Nadège Winter, Mademoiselle Agnès…) as well as an exclusive sale of foulards made from their designs later on.

If your heart tells you to buy one of those foulards, you can find them in store (Maje boutique) as of November 12. All benefits from the sale will fully go to Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque – so that the children can live again, with a full heart.

According to official information sent to Marion Cotillard Web, Marion’s design will be shown during the exhibition (October 21 – November 21) and sold afterwards for the benefit of the society – however she’s in no way affiliated with Maje nor will her design be integrated into the range of foulards.

While the song ‘Beds are Burning’ for the Time for Climate Justice – Tck Tck Tck Campaign is already available on MySpace (it seems that was only a temporary version, it has since been removed), the official launch date is October 1. During the previously mentioned press conference in Paris on October 1 the video clip will be unveiled and it is also as of October 1 that it will be available as free download on many digital platforms. Each click, download and listening will count as a “virtual musical petition” that will be presented to the political leaders of the world at the climate conference in Copenhagen in December.

Beds Are Burning at the Fashion Week Paris: There will be a press conference and a photo call at the Dôme des Galeries Lafayette on October 1, 2009 as of 8 pm. No word on who will attend but let’s hope Marion will.

A brand new Lady Dior Ad! On the last page of the September issue of Vogue Paris I found this ad with a very glamourous Marion Cotillard as Lady Red in New York. I added a HQ scan to the gallery.

So far, I spotted New York Lady Dior ads (the first version) in the UK September issues of Elle and Harper’s Bazaar.

I organized the pictures of Marion as the face of Lady Dior in a way that they are hopefully easier to find. Additionally, I replaced all the previous Behind the scenes pictures from The Lady Noire Affair video with HQ ones plus added many new ones!

Also the first behind the scenes pictures for the New York campaign – starring Marion as Lady Rouge – have surfaced! Enjoy!

Thanks to Marion-Cotillard.fr. Even though we still have to wait till September 8 to listen to Beds Are Burning – a song recorded by many stars, among them Marion Cotillard, in support of the Tck Tck Tck Campaign – we can now have a glimpse at the music video and the song on Facebook and MySpace

I added the small version of the signed promo picture, caps of the music video teaser as well as the teaser itself and a short clip of the New York Making Of where you can hear Marion’s singing and see her standing behind the microphone recording her parts for the song to the site’s media parts.

Exciting news! Dior has posted the very first picture from the second part of the Lady Dior story, which takes place in New York. The pictures for the Print Ads are shot by renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz. Remember, for Paris it was Peter Lindbergh. Ultimately the print campaign will again be followed by a short video starring Marion Cotillard, this time entitled The Lady Red Affair.
