We have just updated the gallery with over one hundred outtakes of many photoshoots. Now, we know that everyone hates tags, but these are tagged because we paid a lot for these out of our pocket to be able to share them with you, and we want to make sure they belong to the website. We will not be tagging every other photo, and other outtakes will go untagged unless we actually have had to pay a large sum for them as was the case with these photos. We hope you’re still thrilled to see them as we are to share them with you.

Note: we have been getting some e-mails with questions regarding Marion’s private life and whether we are affiliated with the tumblr account @MarionCotillardNews. Please stop sending us questions about Marion Cotillard’s life as we are not here to discuss anything other than her inspiring work, and we are also in no way affiliated with that account. One Heart One Tree Project Inauguration in Paris

Marion Cotillard was Master of Ceremonies at the event “One Heart One Tree: Lighting of the Eiffel Tower”, that took place on November 29, the eve of the Paris Climate Change Conference (COP21). Check out the photos in the gallery.

1 Heart 1 Tree is an interactive artwork that allows people around the world to plant virtual trees on the Eiffel Tower that grow at the rate of each individual’s heartbeat. For every digital tree planted, a real tree will be planted through reforestation programs all over the world.

Marion Cotillard on the Graham Norton Show this coming Friday

Good news! Marion Cotillard will be a guest on the Graham Norton Show this Friday, September 25. The show airs on BBC One at 10.30pm (UK time). Watch if you can! I’ll try to grab the video of her appearance as soon as I can.

Together on Graham’s first sofa of the new series: Hollywood star Matt Damon, and Oscar-nominated actress Jessica Chastain (The Help, Zero Dark Thirty), starring in new blockbuster The Martian; Oscar-winning French star Marion Cotillard, talking about her latest movie role as Lady Macbeth; top comic, musician and actor Bill Bailey; and music from The Weeknd, performing the summer hit Can’t Feel My Face.

Edit: Marion was unfortunately not on the show last night, due to this far unknown reasons. Thank you Philip and Benedicte, for letting me know. I was as surprised this morning as you were. Hopefully we will see Marion on the show at a later date.

Marion at Leonardo Dicaprio Foundation Gala

This past Wednesday evening, Marion Cotillard attended the 2nd annual gala of the Leonardo Dicaprio foundation. The foundation aims at earning funds to support the environment and planet preservation. Marion was reunited with Pierre Rabhi, her friend and someone she deeply admires. Marion wore a dress by Erdem.

Besides that, Marion has been supporting partner Guillaume Canet at jumping events. I have added photos to the gallery from the Paris jumping at the beginning of July, where Marion also hung out with Salma Hayek. Enjoy!

Launch of ‘Ice and Sky’ Climate Educational Program

038.jpg 043.jpg 012.jpg 029.jpg
On June 11, Marion Cotillard attended the launch of the ‘Ice and Sky’ Climate Educational Program. The program, created by Luc Jaquet, offers videos shot in various regions of the world, animated films, storyboard diagrams and interviews with leading researchers that will be used as teaching material.

Luc Jaquet, who directed the world wild acclaimed documentary March of the Penguins, directed the Cannes closing night film Ice and the Sky, which the program is based on.

Marion, who lent her voice to dubbing the program, was with Luc Jaquet at the French Insitute in New York City on June 11 to discuss what the program entails during a press conference.

The documentary “Ice and the Sky” centers on climate specialist Claude Lorius, who began researching in Antarctica in 1957 by measuring carbon dioxide bubbles in ice (some of it 800,000 years old) to prove mankind’s role in climate change. Lorius was among the first scientists to make the case for global warming.

I have added dozens of high quality photos of the event to the gallery.

You can listen to Marion’s work on the official site: http://education.iceandsky.com/
