USA Today reported last week that Marion Cotillard will be among the women to be honoured at ELLE’s 20th Women in Hollywood event on October 21 at the Four Seasons Beverly Hills. Congratulations! Fellow honorees will be Penélope Cruz, Reese Witherspoon, Naomie Harris, Melissa McCarthy and Nancy Meyers. According to See-Saw Films, Marion Cotillard has replaced Natalie Portman as Lady Macbeth opposite Michael Fassbender in a new adapation of Shakespeare’s Macbeth. The film, directed by Justin Kurzel (Snowtown), is set to be produced by the team that brought us The King’s Speech and Shame. Shooting is set to begin January 2014 in the United Kingdom.
