New Lady Dior handbag campaign

New Lady Dior handbag campaign

WWD.com reports that Marion Cotillard’s latest campaign with Dior features several new versions of the famous Lady Dior handbag, including one bearing a floral print, and Marion jumping with grace on a trampoline wearing looks from the pre-fall collection by Dior’s couturier Raf Simons. The shots were captures by photographer Jean-Baptiste Mondino and will debut this Friday in Vogue Brazil and April 2 in Vanity Fair in the U.S. There’s also a short making of clip, see below.

The embodiment of ethereal grace, Marion Cotillard reveals her effortlessly elegant femininity for Jean-Baptiste Mondino’s camera. Liberated in her movements, the star appears to take flight, carried away by the dynamic of a carefree dance. The Lady Dior on her arm is an extension of who she is: timelessly elegant, it’s forever renewing itself in surprising and creative ways. Pop in fuchsia leather, or precious in brown crocodile, it also comes with a floral print in delicate shades of pink with graphic lines.

‘The Immigrant’ US Release & Tons of HQ Stills

‘The Immigrant’ US Release & Tons of HQ Stills

There’s finally news about an US release for James Gray’s ‘The Immigrant‘ starring Marion Cotillard. It is no longer going to be released by Radius/TWC (which would probably have meant straight-to-VOD) but by The Weinstein Company itself as originally announced. Starting with a limited release in New York and Los Angeles – with plans to expand later on – ‘The Immigrant‘ will be released in US theatres on May 2 16, 2014 (source).

Along with this news I added a ton of gorgeous HQ stills of Marion Cotillard as Ewa Cybulski – bringing the total count up to 143 (!) – as well as two new pictures from the set. Enjoy!

First Stills from ‘Two Days, One Night’

Marion Cotillard’s upcoming movie by the famous Dardenne brothers ‘Deux jours, une nuit‘ (Two Days, One Night) has a release date: it will be released in France on May 21, 2014 (source). This makes it very likely that the movie will indeed have its premiere during the Cannes Film Festival. Along with this news we also get three gorgeous HQ images of Marion Cotillard as Sandra.

‘Anchorman 2’ Blu-ray Screencaptures and clip

‘Anchorman 2’ Blu-ray Screencaptures and clip

I added screencaptures and a clip of Marion Cotillard’s cameo in ‘Anchorman 2‘. She and Jim Carrey are participating in the international news teams battle with their “incredibly polite Canadian news team”. Marion Cotillard’s newsanchor is from French speaking Quebec News – “the real voice of Canada”.

Marion Cotillard and everybody else involved in this scene just got nominated for an MTV Award:

BEST FIGHT
• “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues” — Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, David Koechner and Steve Carell vs. James Marsden vs. Sacha Baron Cohen vs. Kanye West vs. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler vs. Jim Carrey and Marion Cotillard vs. Will Smith vs. Liam Neeson and John C. Reilly vs. Greg Kinnear

Vote for Marion Cotillard & Co. on MTV.com.

Marion Cotillard joined the Tiger Manifesto

Marion Cotillard joined the Tiger Manifesto

Marion Cotillard signed Greenpeace’s Tiger Manifesto:

“The thought of tigers becoming extinct is simply unbearable. Man has always fought for territories, now we must come together and fight for the tigers. We have the power to influence the way the products we consume are made. We have the power to protect the forests and the tigers. Please use this power now, join me and sign the Tiger Manifesto! ”

Greenpeace Tiger Manifesto

I’m fearless for forests! I want the products I use to be free from tiger extinction. Clearing their homes to make way for palm oil plantations in Indonesia must stop, especially when there are better solutions.

I look after myself and I want to know what’s in my products. Don’t make me part of the Sumatran tigers’ extinction.

Yes! I want the products I love to be tiger and forest friendly.
• There are solutions that don’t involve forest destruction. We want clean palm oil and we ask that our favourite brands listen to our voices.
• We believe immediate action must be taken to stop habitat destruction finding its way into the products we love.
• We have the right to know if our favourite products are linked to tiger extinction.
