Marion Cotillard together with Daniel Day-Lewis, Judi Dench, Kate Hudson, Penelope Cruz, Stacy “Fergie” Ferguson, Producer/Director Rob Marshall, and Producer John Deluca will attend the Variety Screening of the movie on Monday, November 16, 8pm in New York and take part in the Q&A session afterwards. I added the scans from the December issues of both the UK and the Japanese Harper’s Bazaar. Many thanks Lorna and Kelly for scanning the features for us!

I also added a transcript of the UK magazine – it’s mostly to promote Beds are burning, but also Nine. It has information about Marion’s engagement for the environment that previously only French publications have written about. Obviously, I don’t understand the Japanese article but it’s to promote ‘Public Enemies‘.

We recently posted about the December 8, 2009 release of ‘Public Enemies‘ on DVD & Blu-Ray in the US. Now I learned that the movie will be released in the UK already next Monday, November 2, 2009.

The DVD Extras includes only the commentary with director Michael Mann while the Blu-Ray has the same extras as the upcoming US Blu-Ray (except the interactive BD Live features). DVD owners should note that HMV are offering a 2-Disc Exclusive Edition. Exact details are TBC but it is likely to include the hour of featurettes from the Blu-ray on the second disc. (source)

Many thanks kelemenmarc for the heads up! The Hollywood Film Festival Award Committee has selected Marion Cotillard (along with 9 other great actresses) for the Hollywood Female Star of the Year Award. It is up to us to vote for her! She faces tough competition, especially from Megan Fox. The final awards will be presented at the Hollywood Movie Awards Gala Ceremony on October 26.

No idea what they will be airing but the official ‘Nine‘ Twitter account just said that we should tune in to ‘The Insider’ on CBS tonight at 7:00 PM EST / 7:30 PM. Maybe a second trailer?!

Despite previous denial, the US release date for ‘Nine‘ has indeed been pushed back. It will now open in New York and Los Angeles on December 18 before going wide on Christmas, December 25.
