The 2013 EE British Academy Film Awards will take place on Sunday 10 February at London’s Royal Opera House.

Australian Award Nomination

And some international flair has come to the awards game: The Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) today announced the nominees in the five AACTA International Award categories, recognising international achievements in film as follows: Best Film, Best Direction, Best Screenplay, Best Actor and Best Actress:

The 2nd AACTA International Awards winners’ announcement event will be held in L.A., late January 2013.

Don’t forget: BAFTA awards nominations are announced tomorrow as of 7.35 am GMT by Alice Eve and Jeremy Irvine (watch live) and Oscar nominations are announced the following day, on Thursday starting at 5.30 am PT by Seth MacFarlane and Emma Stone (website). Let’s hope we’ll hear Marion Cotillard’s name among the nominees!

Marion nominated by the Vancouver Film Critics

The Vancouver Film Critics have recently announced their award nominations for this year, and they have included Marion in the Best Actress category. She is joined by Jessica Chastain and Jennifer Lawrence – they only have 3 nominees in each category, it seems.

The 18èmes Trophées Des Lumières 2013 ceremony will be held on January 18 at the Gaîté lyrique in Paris.

The other major French awards, the Césars – the French Oscars – will announce their nominations on January 25 and the winners on February 22.

London Critics' Circle Awards Nomination

Marion Cotillard just got nominated for the Best Actress award by the London Critics’ Circle. She previously won that award in 2008 for ‘La Vie en Rose‘.
