Marion at Climate Bootcamp and Paris Fashion Week

This past weekend, Marion Cotillard attended the third annual Climate Bootcamp in La Bourboule, France. The bootcamp’s goal is to educate people on the issues faced by the environment.

Of course being famous isn’t enough. But when I am able to lend my support to these kind of initiatives, I’m happy to do it. I’ve always wondered if it wasn’t counter-productive to do it, but the feedback I get confirms that it’s actually very beneficial.

Marion was this year’s guest of honour, following in the steps of Nicolas Houlot and Pierre Rabhi, in previous years.

On Sunday, Marion attended the Valentino Spring/Summer 2018 show at the Paris Fashion week. Marion wore a Valentino ensemble to the show.

I have added photos of both events to the gallery as well as a bootcamp interview in French to the video area.

New film ‘Gueule d’Ange’ begins shooting October 9

Great news. Marion’s new film seems confirmed to begin shooting in a week. Thanks to Variety, we now have a bit more details on the plot and production of the film.

Oscar-winning actress Marion Cotillard is set to star in “Gueule d’ange,” a French drama which will mark the feature debut of Vanessa Filho.

“Gueule d’ange” was written by Filho, in collaboration with Alain Dias, aka Diasteme, a writer-director whose 2015 thriller “French Blood” played at Toronto, and François Pirot (“Mobile Home”).

The drama follows a single mother who abandons her 8-year-old daughter after meeting someone in a nightclub. Cotillard will star in the film opposite Ayline Etaix, Alban Lenoir and Amélie Daure.

The movie is being produced by Carole Lambert through her new company Windy Production and the well-established producer Marc Missonnier via his banner Moana Films. Stephane Celerier’s Mars Films is co-producing and will distribute it in France.

“Gueule d’ange” will start shooting Oct. 9 for eight weeks in the South of France and Paris region.

Marion goes blonde for next role, attends Milan Fashion Awards

Marion Cotillard attended the Green Carpet Fashion Awards in Milan this past Monday, sporting a new look: the actress has dyed her hair blonde in preparation for her new role in the upcoming French film Gueule d’Ange, which should start shooting in Paris in the upcoming weeks.

She attended the event wearing C O | T E, in a dress with sheer lace overlay and a black bodysuit underneath. She was also spotted walking the streets in a WHYRED green pantsuit. I have added some photos to the gallery.

New film for Marion?

It seems Marion is linked to a new French film that is supposed to shoot this fall in the Paris area. The film, Gueule D’Ange is reportedly looking for a little girl to play the role of Marion’s daughter. It’s not clear what the plot will be yet but the film will be directed by French director Vanessa Filho.

Here is the link to the casting advertisement posted today and mentioning Marion.

Cannes, Cabourg & Dior rumours

Hi everyone! I know these updates come late, life has taken over in a huge way and there’s really not been a lot of time for me to post on the website. But, as always with summer holidays, a little spare time can be found!

In the past few months, Marion has attended to festivals in France: the first one, of course, the renowned Cannes Film Festival, and the second one a smaller film festival, the Romantic Film Festival of Cabourg. In Cannes, Marion presented her latest film Les Fantômes d’Ismael and in Cabourg she attended as president of the Jury.

I have added hundreds of high quality photos of several events/days of both film festivals so be sure to check them out.

This year’s festival in Cannes seems to have marked a rupture in the contract Marion held with Dior since 2008, after fronting 15 of their campaigns. We have read the rumours and were hoping for an official confirmation before publishing it on the website but the fact that there have been no Dior campaigns fronted by Marion this year yet and the fact that she has not worn a Dior creation at any events she’s attended pretty much confirms it for us that Dior and Marion have split. While it’s sad that we won’t see any future Lady Dior campaigns, I personally feel this has given her a chance to wear other creations and designers and refresh her look a bit. What do you think?

You can read an article on the rupture here.

Please bear in mind we have no knowledge as to whether the allegations in that article are true, just that the rupture between the brand and the actress seems to have indeed happened.

I have also added new shoots to the site, from Cannes and by Jean Baptiste Mondino.

I will hopefully be working on the video archive throughout the summer as there are still hundreds of videos to add to it. Enjoy!
