I recorded bits of this night’s Mon Taratata à moi from my internet TV player. The quality is not the best but you can now enjoy Marion Cotillard in a photo booth choosing a performance by Lily Allen from the Taratata archives for her personal Taratata show. Why Lily? Because Marion loves England and Rock – and that’s what Lily stands for.
There was about 1.5 second at the end of the show I didn’t manage to record where Marion was waving goodbye. Now, I really can’t wait for next week when she’ll actually be performing on the real Taratata show!
Yodélice’s new music video to the first song Breathe In on the new album is out! Watch the music video on UniversalMusic.fr. It features footage from the studio as well as live concerts – and really captures the atmosphere of seeing the band peform live! I’m not sure whether this is the final version or only a teaser – but for my taste it’s far too short!
Marion Cotillard taped her appearance on the music TV show Taratata back on September 16, 2010. Finally, it will air on TV! On Tuesday, November 2 at 8.35pm on France 4 and again on Friday, November 5 at 00.40pm on France 2. Watch the Trailer on MyTaratata.com. Apparently, Marion Cotillard will be singing ‘Velvet goldmine’ with Yodélice.
Already this week however, she’ll be seen in Mon Taratata à moi where the guests pick artists to perform on the show. According to the Trailer on MyTaratata.com Marion picked Lilly Allen. Not sure if there’ll be more of Marion during the actual show this Friday than what can be seen in this trailer.
There is also a video where ‘M’ sings a message for Guillaume Canet during the taping of Taratata – Marion is part of the large group of people singing along – which was then played for Guillaume when he was guest on Vivement Dimanche (October 10). Watch it on YouTube.
It’s only been days since we’ve seen the new print ad for the new Lady Dior campaign. Now look at some behind the scenes pictures from the shoot – released via Vogue Australia.
Marion Cotillard performed a duet with French singer Jenifer already once on live TV early 2007 during the show Hommage à Piaf when they sang Piaf’s song ‘Milord’ together.
Now, Charts in France reports that a duet with Marion Cotillard can be found on Jenifer’s 4th studio album Appelle moi Jen to be in stores on November 29. The song is called ‘Le clash des brunes‘. I can’t wait!
Marion Cotillard has been confirmed as presenter at the upcoming BAFTA Los Angeles’ Britannia Awards next Thursday, November 4. Writer and director of ‘Inception‘ Christopher Nolan will be honoured at the event. Other honorees include Jeff Bridges, Scott Free Productions, Michael Sheen and Betty White. Other confirmed presenters include Dakota Fanning, Carey Mulligan, Kevin Spacey and Olivia Wilde.
For the first time the event will be broadcast on US television on the TV Guide NetworkSunday, November 8, 2010 at 8.00pm ET/PT, preceded by a 30-minute red carpet special at 7.30pm. Is anybody recording for the site? That’d be great!
Today’s the day Yodélice’s new album Cardioid is released. Order it from Amazon.fr. I’ve picked it up at a music store earlier today and enjoy listening to it – especially the track Five Thousand Nights which is the duo with Simone (aka Marion Cotillard).
For more information on this great band check out their official site. Marion appeared in the music video of the first single off the new album as well as in a promotional picture featured in Elle back in August. During the evening news on M6 on Saturday Yodelice (aka Maxim Nucci) said that Marion inspires him and is simply very talented.
As of Wednesday, ‘Les petits mouchoirs‘ is being shown in cinemas across France. On the day of the premiere alone, 166,477 people went to see it – which apparently makes this the 2nd best French opening of the year behind Camping 2 and the 12th best start overall. Congratulations! Visit the OFFICIAL movie website!
To promote the movie, Marion Cotillard attended more advance screenings: on Tuesday evening in Montpellier (South of France) from where she took a plane back to Paris – Guillaume & Co. attended screenings in 5 different cinemas in Paris throughout Wednesday – the day of the theatrical release. View a picture of Marion and Guillaume taking a stroll near UGC Bercy in the morning.
Then, pre-recorded interviews with Marion Cotillard were shown on TV while Guillaume Canet was a guest in the studio: Evening news JT20h on France 2, October 17 and Cooking Show C A Vous on France 5, October 19. This show went to the Paris premiere and asked the cast members to divulge something about Guillaume we didn’t know yet. Marion was asked what he’d like to have on the show – she suggested Crumble, which was then the dessert on the show. And everyone was given a handkerchief (“mouchoir”) with their name.
A proper video about the gala premiere in Paris can be found on Gala.fr and Marion, Guillaume & François did stay for the La boîte à questions on Monday. The segment – with a reference to Marion’s Forehead Tittaes – aired on Wednesday on Canal+.
The preview of the new Lady Dior ad is out! Shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott (who also did the recent Vogue Paris photoshoot with Marion) shot her in London holding a gray version of the Lady Dior bag wearing Dior’s cruise collection aboard the London Eye. The prints will appear in December issues of Vogue Nippon, Elle in the U.K. and France, and Vanity Fair in the U.S.
The afore-mentioned online short movie will be unveiled to the press in London in late November along with a new Dior boutique on New Bond Street and a dinner hosted by Dior chief executive officer Sidney Toledano. • Source:WWD.com
To promote the theatrical release of ‘Les petits mouchoirs‘ in France on Wednesday Marion Cotillard together with Guillaume Canet and François Cluzet appeared on Le grand journal earlier tonight. Watch the videos on Canalplus.fr (La Suite 1 & 2) until I’ve added them to the video archive. Let’s hope they stayed for La boîte aux questions – we’ll find out tomorrow.
Marion Cotillard and Yodélice will be the guests of next Monday’s Le grand journal.
