Welcome to Magnifique Marion Cotillard! Marion's best known for her award winning performance in La Vie en Rose, but you might also recognise her from movies such as Inception, Midnight in Paris, The Dark Knight Rises and The French Rust and Bone. Collecting nominations for her latest film Two Days, One Night and starring in the upcoming adaptation of Shakespeare's Macbeth, Marion Cotillard is finally making a comeback to leading roles. Not stopping at movies, Marion Cotillard is also exploring her musical talents, having toured with French rock band Yodelice and recorded a song and video with British band Metronomy. She's also taken over the fashion industry as the face of Lady Dior. All the while, she is never too busy for her family and to lend her time and name to causes she believes in. Enjoy your time here and keep checking back for all the latest news!

news-2010-08-20After being on the cover US Vogue last month as well as with the other ‘Nine‘ actresses last November it is finally time for Marion Cotillard to grace the cover of Vogue Paris! She was already featured inside the publication last April. But it is more than deserving that she should be honoured with a cover and a 10 page inside feature in her home country.

Just ahead of the release of her upcoming French film ‘Les petits mouchoirs this simply stunning shoot by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott promises us to show Marion in Paris and judging from the cover it emphasizes her ‘Old Glamour’ looks – preview courtesy of Dieselmax at the Fashion Spot. The issue hits newsstands on August 26 and I’ll be sure to pick up my issue and post scans then.

[edit:] Interesting tidbit from Fashionologie: “Marion’s [cover] marks the first actress on a Vogue Paris September cover since Nicole Kidman in 2005″

I am beyond excited to see Marion on VP! Finally. It’s so overdue.
Another title to tick off the list.
Hoping to see her grace the covers of W, Vanity Fair, Elle US, Elle UK, and Vogue UK in the years to come!
